Why is window film installed with Wet Application? {Slip Solution}

When it comes to installing Window Film, we always want to use a slip solution - this is a mixture of distilled water and baby soap.

But there is some confusion as most wrap products can be installed using a dry method {no slip solution being used during installation}

Wrap products typically have air release, where it won't "lock in" air pockets. Using a dry isntall method always allows easier installation around grooves, bends, and corners on complex portions of the vehicle.
