This two-day course is designed for beginners, window tint installers, detailers, automotive professionals and shop owners who want to learn how to professionally install Paint Protection Film (PPF).

The Nashville PPF Certification Course is presented by Tint Academy and sponsored by Scorpion Window Film, giving students an opportunity to learn through hands-on installation instead of simply watching demonstrations.

PPF Training in Nashville — November 2nd & 3rd

Dates: November 2–3, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Course: 2-Day PPF Certification
Training: Hands-on Paint Protection Film installation
Presented by: Tint Academy
Sponsored by: Scorpion Window Film

The goal is simple: get students working with PPF on real automotive surfaces and learning the techniques used by professional installers.

What Is Paint Protection Film?

Paint Protection Film—commonly called PPF, clear bra or protection film—is a transparent automotive film installed over painted surfaces to help protect a vehicle's finish.

PPF is commonly installed on high-impact areas such as front bumpers, hoods, fenders, mirrors and other painted surfaces.

For automotive detailers, window tint installers and restyling businesses, PPF can be another service to offer customers who want to protect their vehicles.

But professional PPF installation takes practice.

That's exactly why Tint Academy focuses on hands-on PPF training.

What Will You Learn in the Nashville PPF Course?

Students will be introduced to the installation process from vehicle preparation through final finishing.

The Nashville PPF training covers important fundamentals such as surface preparation, cleaning and contamination control, understanding PPF materials, slip and tack solutions, film positioning, squeegee techniques, stretching and manipulating film, working around curves and difficult areas, managing edges and finishing an installation.

You'll also learn how to recognize and correct common installation problems.

Rather than only watching an instructor work, students get the opportunity to handle film, use professional installation tools and practice the techniques themselves.

Can Beginners Learn PPF?

Yes. You don't need to already be a professional PPF installer to attend Tint Academy.

Our training is designed to help students understand the fundamentals and begin developing proper installation habits.

PPF can be challenging when you're starting out. Film tension, positioning, stretching, contamination and finishing can all affect the final installation.

Hands-on instruction gives students an opportunity to make mistakes, ask questions and understand why something happened and how to correct it.

Two days won't replace months or years of practice, but structured training can provide a foundation for continuing to develop your skills.

Why Learn PPF in Nashville?

Nashville and the surrounding Tennessee automotive market includes detailing shops, dealerships, tint businesses, restyling companies and independent automotive entrepreneurs.

Learning PPF can complement services such as window tinting, ceramic coatings, detailing and other automotive protection services.

For an existing window tint or detailing business, adding PPF can provide another service to offer current customers.

For someone new to the automotive industry, PPF can also be one of several specialized installation skills worth developing as they build their business.

Learn Window Tint AND PPF in Nashville

Want to learn more than PPF?

Tint Academy is also holding its 2-Day Nashville Window Tint Certification on October 31st and November 1st, 2026.

That means students can attend both programs back-to-back:

October 31 – November 1: Window Tint Certification

November 2 – 3: PPF Certification

That's four consecutive days of hands-on automotive training in Nashville.

For detailers and automotive entrepreneurs, learning both services can make sense because the same customer interested in protecting their vehicle with PPF may also want professional window tint.

Why Train With Tint Academy?

Tint Academy has built its training programs around hands-on installation.

Our philosophy is:

HANDS ON. REAL CARS. REAL SKILLS. REAL RESULTS.

Students aren't coming to Nashville to spend two days sitting in chairs.

They're coming to install.

Small class sizes allow students to spend more time practicing, asking questions and receiving direct feedback from instructors.

The objective is to leave the course understanding the installation process and having a foundation you can continue practicing after training.

Working with professional automotive film products during training helps students become familiar with the materials, tools and processes they'll encounter as they continue developing their installation skills.

For someone already working with automotive window film, detailing or vehicle protection, the Nashville course is also an opportunity to expand into another installation category.
