Learn Window Tinting in Los Angeles: 2-Day Hands-On Certification at CoGarage (Dec 5–6, 2026)

Picture LA: freeways packed with cars all day under the Southern California sun.

A lot of those drivers want their windows tinted.

The question is: who's going to do the work?

We just finished a class at CoGarage, and we're heading back.

On December 5 & 6, 2026, we're bringing our 2-day hands-on Window Tint Certification to CoGarage in El Monte, in the Los Angeles area. Two days to go from never having tinted to working on real vehicles.

Register Now – Los Angeles Dec 5–6

1. Two days, hands on the film

This isn't two days of sitting in a classroom watching someone else tint. You'll work with real glass, real vehicles, heat guns, squeegees and tint knives, with an instructor showing you the process and then helping you do it yourself.

• Day 1, foundations + side windows: tint theory and film fundamentals, professional tools, glass prep, roll-down windows (framed and 2-stage), quarter and frameless windows, tint removal, sun strips and banners, plus marketing and business basics.
• Day 2, rear windows + full vehicles: heat shrinking, hatchback and sedan rear windows, rear-window tint removal, trucks and SUVs, a plotter overview, finishing and troubleshooting, and how to book customers.

Never tinted before? That's fine. No experience is required. The course teaches the process from the beginning.

2. You leave with the gear to keep going

• A professional Tint Tool Kit
• Ceramic automotive window film to keep practicing with
• Your Tint Academy Window Tint Certification
• Our online Window Tint Training Course (50+ chapters)
• Business and marketing training
• Supplier access, lifetime mentor support and our student community
• Future re-attendance / observation opportunities where available

You keep your tool kit and film after class, so you can start practicing the week after instead of starting from zero.

3. Who this is for

• Complete beginners who want a hands-on trade
• Anyone looking for a weekend side hustle
• Detailers, ceramic coating, PPF and wrap installers who keep sending tint jobs somewhere else
• Dealership employees and existing automotive businesses
• Anyone who wants to build a mobile or shop-based tint business
