At Tint Academy, we teach our students both hand-cutting and plotter installation because professional installers should understand both methods.
When it comes to plotter software, we recommend the Scorpion Scan app.
Scorpion Scan helps window tint and PPF installers quickly access vehicle patterns and send them directly to a compatible plotter—right from a phone or tablet.
Why do we recommend it?
• Save time by reducing manual pattern cutting
• Improve consistency from one installation to the next
• Reduce wasted window film and PPF
• Access professional vehicle patterns
• Control your plotter wirelessly from your device
• Complete more installations in less time
• Create a cleaner, more efficient workflow
Whether you’re a new installer, an experienced professional or a shop owner looking to increase production, Scorpion Scan can help simplify your cutting process.
Tint Academy students can also receive exclusive Scorpion dealer access for professional window films, PPF, plotters and software.
