Window tint training in Nassau, Bahamas: Tint Academy instructor applying film to a car side window as students watch

Tint Academy's first window tint course in the Bahamas sold out, and the class is coming back. The October 3–4, 2026 class in Nassau filled up, so Tint Academy Caribbean is planning to return for more window tint training in Nassau. The next Bahamas dates have not been announced yet. If you missed the first class, the next one is your chance to get hands-on certification without leaving the Caribbean.

This post covers what happened at the sold-out class, why demand is growing across the Caribbean, and how to hear first when the next class opens. For the full day-by-day curriculum, kit details and Bahamas tint rules, see our complete guide to the window tint course in Nassau.

The First Window Tint Course in the Bahamas Sold Out

In October 2026, Tint Academy ran its first certification course in Nassau, and it sold out. Students spent two days with film in their hands: prepping glass, cutting, heat-shrinking rear windows, and installing on real vehicles with an instructor beside them. One student traveled from Freeport, Grand Bahama, just to attend. You can read the full recap in Tint Academy Makes History With a Sold-Out Course in Nassau.

Hear from that student in his own words:

Why Window Tint Training in Nassau Matters for the Caribbean

The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean get strong sun all year. Drivers and property owners want film for heat, glare and UV protection, and they need skilled installers close to home. Until recently, most people in the region who wanted real, hands-on training had to book flights, hotels and time off to train in the United States.

A window tint course in the Bahamas changes that. Students train in Nassau, on the kinds of vehicles they will actually see, and can start booking customers the week after class. It is part of a bigger plan: Tint Academy Caribbean aims to bring professional window tint certification to Nassau and across the Caribbean. Tint Academy has trained more than 6,500 students worldwide.

What Students Do in Two Days

The next Nassau class will follow the same program that sold out in October. It is a small class and about 80% hands-on.

  • Day 1: window film theory and working with customers, cutting drills, framed (2-stage) and frameless roll-down windows, quarter windows, tint removal, sun strips and banners, and marketing.
  • Day 2: review and practice, hatchback and sedan rear windows, rear window tint removal, trucks, a plotter overview, a residential window film tutorial, and booking appointments for your first week.

Every student leaves with a full advanced package of tools and a 100 ft roll of ceramic tint, plus access to the online student support group, instructors and learning modules, and free observation slots at future Tint Academy courses.

Who Should Join the Next Nassau Class

  • Complete beginners who want a hands-on trade, mobile or from a shop
  • Detailers, car dealers and accessory shops in the Bahamas that want to add tint
  • Self-taught tinters who want cleaner, faster installs
  • Students from Grand Bahama, the Family Islands and other Caribbean islands who would rather take a short trip to Nassau than fly to the U.S.
